Domaine Spiropoulos - NemeaNemea Estate
We create this unique wine from grapes grown in Domaine Spiropoulos organically cultivated vineyards in Nemea. After careful processing of the Agiorgitiko grapes in our winery in Ancient Nemea, we age the wine in French oak barrels (225 lit) for at least 12 months. Deep red in color, with hints of cherry, ripe red fruits, wood, vanilla and spices, Domaine Spiropoulos Nemea with its full-bodied flavor- can age at least for 5 years, or it can be enjoyed from today.
MELIDONIOS is a naturally sweet wine which we produce by selecting the most suitable grapes from the estate's vineyards. After harvesting them, we follow the ancient traditional technique of drying them in the sun. The long repose of this wine in oak barrels is conducive to production of a characteristic and unique sweet wine whose sweetness combines harmoniously with the typical acidity of the grape variety, but as well with the alcohol content. In the bouquet, we can easily detect the effect of aging in the full-bodied balance, with notes of flowers and fruits.MELIDONIOS should be served at 6-8°C either as an aperitif or to accompany desserts, fresh or dried fruit, and cheeses of intense flavor.
Orino RedNemea Estate
Domaine Spiropoulos ORINO red is created from grapes of carefully selected upland locations of the Peloponnese. Gentle processing of the Agiorgitiko and Syrah grapes, combined with a brief period of aging in French oak barrels, yields a fresh-tasting wine mellow and full-bodied, with flavors of red fruit and hints of caramel.
